CASI Non-Resident Visiting Scholar Milan Vaishnav (Carnegie Endowment for International Peace) co-authored, along with Paul Staniland (University of Chicago), "The State of Opposition in South Asia," published by Carnegie Endowment for International Peace on January 24, 2023.

CASI Postdoctoral Research Fellow Sarath Pillai published a book review of Joseph McQuade's A Genealogy of Terrorism: Colonial Law and the Origins of an Idea (Cambridge University Press, 2020) in the December 2022 issue of Global Nineteenth-Century Studies.

2023-24 AIF Banyan Impact Fellowship Applications Open
The American India Foundation (AIF)'s Banyan Impact Fellowship is a fully-funded, interdisciplinary experiential learning program that places young professionals from India and the US in service with communities across India.

Candidates must be U.S. or Indian citizens, or U.S. permanent residents. They must be between 21 and 35 years of age and have obtained their Bachelor’s degree by the start of the program. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Eligible graduating seniors and young alumni can apply here and learn more about the Fellowship.
