India in Transition (IiT) is a publication that presents brief, analytical perspectives to a wide and diverse audience on innovative ideas and ongoing transformations in contemporary India.
Tariq Thachil took over as Director of CASI in July 2020, just as the world was grappling with the uncertainty of a global pandemic. He steps down in June 2025, at a time when American academia faces a new wave of pressure.
