Neelanjan Sircar is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi, and a CASI Non-Resident Scholar. Previously, he was a CASI Postdoctoral Research Fellow (2013-15) and CASI Fall 2021 Visiting Scholar. His research interests include Indian voting behavior and the social impacts of urbanization in India. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from UC Berkeley in 2003, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University in 2014.
