Research focused on the transformation of Dalit social movements in Tamil Nadu into political parties at the turn of the millennium.

Research focused on the role of the education reforms in Kerala in 2006.

Utpal Sandesara, a third year M.D.-Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology and the Perleman School of Medicine.
Research focused on creating a comprehensive ethnographic study of the processes and experiences of sex selective abortion in Gujarat.
