Rishikesha Krishnan (Director, IIM Indore and CASI Fall 2008 Visiting Scholar) published "Defying the Odds: Invigorating Accounts of Dalit Entrepreneurship" in the September 22, 2014 issue of Inside IIM. Defying the Odds: The Rise of Dalit Entrepreneurs (Random House India, 2014) was co-authored by Professor Kapur, along with D. In this issue of India in Transition, Stefan Bender, Jörg Heining, and Kaushik Krishnan (Head, Research Data Center, German Federal Employment Agency, Institute for Employment Research; Senior Researcher, Research Data Center, German Federal Employment Agency, Institute for Employment Research; and Doctoral Candidate in Economics, UC Berkeley, respectively) argue for the creation of an employer-employee linked dataset to study the Indian labor market.
