In continuation of CASI's 25th anniversary celebrations, a joint daytime symposium was held in New Delhi to also commemorate UPIASI's 20th anniversary. The event featured panels discussing the five core areas of collaborative research between CASI and UPIASI (agriculture, urban, domestic politics, foreign policy and international security, and media) and was attended by alumni and various research collaborators. The symposium was hosted by Devesh Kapur (CASI Director) and E. Sridharan (UPIASI Academic Director & Chief Executive), and featured several CASI research affiliates, as well as former CASI Visiting Scholars and Postdocs from India: Mekhala Krishnamurthy, Harish Damodaran, Ajay Jakhar, Purvi Mehta, P. S. Vijay Shankar, Neelanjan Sircar, K. P. Krishnan, Partha Mukhopadhyay, Biswapriya Sanyal, Megha Aggarwal, Bilal Baloch, Prashant Jha, M. R. Madhavan, Anubha Bhonsle, Apoorvanand Jha, Chandra Bhan Prasad, Anit Mukherjee, Srinath Raghavan, Ajai Shukla, Rohan Mukherjee, Sevanti Ninan, Patrick French, K. R. Meera, Rahul Pandita, and Anuradha Raman. The celebration concluded with a dinner at the India International Centre.
