CASI Student Programs

CASI summer intern, Aardra Rajendran, was featured in the June 26, 2014 issue of Penn News Today. She is in Uttarakhand working in environmental engineering with the Central Himalayan Rural Action Group (CHIRAG). [Read her Student Programs blog posts]

Summer interns are entering the final month of their internships and are well immersed in their projects and communities. Be sure to read their latest blog posts from the foothills of the Himalayas to the backwaters of Kerala. The Aravind interns have taken on three projects at the eye hospital including a clinical trial focused on glaucoma patients and the SPS interns in Madhya Pradesh are working on projects related to livelihoods and dairy farming. CASI's five winners for summer travel funds for research have started to report on their summers as well.
