Chandra Bhan Prasad, writer on Dalit issues, and former CASI Visiting Scholar, and Milind Kamble, Chairman, Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DICCI) published "Manifesto to End Caste: Push Capitalism and Industrialisation to Eradicate this Pernicious System" in the January 23, 2013 issue of The Times of India.
(Mr. Kamble was also a recipient of the 2013 Padma Shri Award, one of the highest civilian awards in India, presented by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee)

Additionally, a February 6, 2013 article in The Times of India titled "Nothing Can Contest Caste Inequality More than Free Markets and Economic Growth" notes the UPenn study conducted by CASI on major social and economic shifts among Dalits in Uttar Pradesh since 1991.
