On August 28, 2010, Economic & Political Weekly published "Rethinking Inequality: Dalits in Uttar Pradesh in the Market Reform Era," by CASI Director Devesh Kapur, Chandra Bhan Prasad, Lant Pritchett, and D. Shyam Babu. The article highlights the findings of a unique survey designed and implemented by members of the Dalit community that captures social practices and important living conditions from 1990 to the present.
