Nepal: A Manifesto for Political Reform

In this issue of India in Transition, Prashant Jha, Associate Editor, Hindustan Times, and CASI Spring 2015 Visiting Fellow, argues that the earthquake in Nepal should be used as an opportunity to institutionalize a new constitution, and move away from the Kathmandu-centred paradigm to federalize and decentralize.

Prashant Jha (Associate Editor, Hindustan Times, and CASI Spring 2015 Visiting Fellow) published "Recovery in Nepal" in the May 5, 2015 issue of The New Yorker. Additionally, he was featured in the May 6, 2015 issue of Penn News Today in a video interview with CNN on the struggles the people of Nepal face in the earthquake aftermath.
